We produced a series of decorative lanterns with Asian-inspired designs for an event installation. Each lantern was constructed from scored and folded card with PVC window panels, housing battery-powered LED units inside. The panels were printed with translucent inks so the designs glowed when lit. Multiple sizes were produced, from tabletop pieces to floor-standing units over a metre tall.
